Getting Started
===============

If you are new to PYSTILT, read these pages in order.

1. :doc:`what_is_stilt` explains what a footprint is and how STILT makes one.
2. :doc:`installation` installs the package.
3. :doc:`quickstart` runs one simulation and plots its footprint.

The :doc:`glossary` defines STILT's terms, such as receptor, footprint,
``numpar``, and ARL. Keep it open in another tab.

Already know STILT-R? Start with :doc:`../migration/stilt_r`, then come back
to the quickstart.
