Execution

Most users only need model.run() or stilt run (Where To Run). The functions below do the work underneath.

• run_simulation() runs one Simulation and saves its outputs.

• run_receptor() runs every variant of one receptor. Workers are always handed receptors.

• run_receptors() runs a list of receptors, in this process or in a process pool.

• pull_receptors() takes receptors from the PostgreSQL work queue until it is empty.

The executors start that work on this machine, on Slurm, or on Kubernetes.

stilt.execution.run_simulation	Run one simulation and copy its outputs into the project.
stilt.execution.run_receptor	Run every simulation of one receptor.
stilt.execution.run_receptors	Run a list of receptors, in this process or in a process pool.
stilt.execution.pull_receptors	Run receptors from the model's work queue until it is empty.
stilt.execution.SimulationResult	Outcome of one simulation run by a worker.
