stilt.footprint.check_resolution#

stilt.footprint.check_resolution(geometry, xres, yres, crs)[source]#

Warn when the raster is too coarse to resolve the smallest target cell.

The warning is about the error of rasterizing polygon boundaries, so only a mesh can get it, or zones made from one. A grid in the raster’s own CRS is exact at any resolution, and so are zones of its cells. A geometry in a different CRS is skipped, since its units differ.

Return type:

None

Parameters:
  • geometry (Grid | Mesh | Zones)

  • xres (float)

  • yres (float)

  • crs (str)
