stilt.particles.check_particles(particles, need=())[source]#

Check that a particle table has the columns of PARTICLE_SCHEMA, and need.

Parameters:

  • particles (DataFrame) – A particle table, such as a transport model returns.

  • need (Iterable[str]) – Other columns the next step reads, such as ("foot",) for a footprint.

Raises:

ValueError – Naming the missing columns.

Return type:

None
