Receptor that releases particles evenly along a vertical line.

Parameters

timedatetime-like or str

Release time, as for PointReceptor.

longitudefloat

Longitude in degrees, from -180 to 180.

latitudefloat

Latitude in degrees, from -90 to 90.

bottomfloat

Bottom of the column in metres. Must be less than top.

topfloat

Top of the column in metres.

altitude_ref{“agl”, “msl”}, default “agl”

Whether the heights are above ground level or above mean sea level.

Methods

from_dict(d)	Build a receptor from a dict made by to_dict().
from_points(time, points, *[, altitude_ref])	Build the right receptor type for a list of points.
to_dict()	Return this receptor as a dict with type, time, longitude, latitude, bottom, top, and altitude_ref.

Attributes

geometry	Shapely geometry of the release points.
id	Receptor id, the release time followed by the location id.
location_id	Location id, "<lon>_<lat>_X".
plot	Plotting methods, such as receptor.plot.map().
points	Release points as shapely Point(lon, lat, alt) objects.
