classmethod Footprint.from_netcdf(path, *, chunks=None, **kwargs)[source]#

Read a footprint from a NetCDF file written by to_netcdf().

Parameters:

path (str | Path) – Footprint file.
chunks (Any | None) – Passed to xarray.open_dataset() to load the data lazily with dask.
**kwargs (Any) – Passed to xarray.open_dataset().

Returns:

The footprint, with its receptor and settings read from the file’s attributes. A recorded transform that cannot be rebuilt here (its class cannot be imported, or is not a pydantic model) is kept as its settings mapping, with a warning.
