stilt.geometry.check_resolution#

stilt.geometry.check_resolution(geometry, xres, yres, crs)[source]#

Warn when the raster is too coarse to resolve the smallest target cell.

The warning is about the error of rasterizing polygon boundaries. A grid in the raster’s own CRS is exact at any resolution, so it never warns, and neither does a geometry in a different CRS, whose units differ.

Return type:

None

Parameters:
  • geometry (Grid | Mesh | Zones)

  • xres (float)

  • yres (float)

  • crs (str)
