stilt.store.make_store(root, *, cache_dir=None)[source]#

Return the store for a project root.

Parameters:

  • root (str | Path) – Local directory or URI.

  • cache_dir (str | Path | None) – Download cache, used only for a URI.

Returns:

FsspecStore for a URI, else LocalStore.

Return type:

Store
