stilt.Project.folders#

Project.folders()[source]#

Return every settings folder in the output directory, and which variants use it.

A settings folder holds the results of one set of settings, named after the variant that first made them and a short hash of the settings (settings=hrrr-b2399e). A folder that no variant of this project uses comes from changed settings, a dropped variant, or another project sharing the output directory; PYSTILT never deletes one. stilt status prints this table.

Returns:

kind (particles or footprints), folder (the settings= value), name (the variant that made it), files (the result files it holds), variant (the variants here that use it, empty when none does), and differs (how an unused folder’s settings differ from the variant of its name).

Return type:

DataFrame
