slv.inversion.config.get_mdm_comp_configs(config)[source]#

Build MDM components list from config dict, merging with defaults.

Raises ValueError for a component name that is not in DEFAULT_MDM_CONFIG: a misspelled or retired key (e.g. the old transport_pbl / transport_wind) would otherwise be ignored silently, and the MDM cache key would not change either.
