slv.inversion.viz.plot_flux_maps#

slv.inversion.viz.plot_flux_maps(post, tiler=None, tiler_zoom=10, time='mean', **kwargs)[source]#

Map the prior and posterior fluxes and their difference, one panel each.

The fluxes are reduced over time by time: "mean" or "std" over the flux times (no difference panel for "std"), the position of one time (an int), or a time’s label. The prior and posterior share one color scale.

Parameters:
  • post (Posterior) – The solved inversion (its state’s flux block, by time, lat, lon).

  • tiler (cartopy tile source, optional) – Background tiles for every panel.

  • tiler_zoom (int, default 10) – The tiles’ zoom level.

  • time ({"mean", "std"}, int or label, default "mean") – How the flux times are reduced or which one is shown.

  • **kwargs – Passed to xarray’s plotting (cmap, alpha, …).

Returns:

  • fig (matplotlib.figure.Figure) – The figure.

  • axes (numpy.ndarray) – Its panels: prior, posterior (and their difference).
